The Semi-Cassette Economy is the right choice for patios with existing roof cover or for seasonal use (spring/summer only). 30% cost savings over full cassette.
Add the LED light strip option to create ambient evening lighting. Combined with the wind sensor, the awning auto-retracts in storms without any staff intervention.
Fabric tip: For south/west-facing installations in hot climates, choose darker fabric colors (charcoal, terracotta, navy) — they absorb more heat but provide better UV block. For north-facing or cooler climates, lighter colors (ivory, beige, white) reflect heat and brighten the space. All fabrics are solution-dyed for 10+ year colorfastness.
Projection tip: The projection should be roughly equal to or greater than the height of the window/door being shaded. For ground-floor patios with 2.5m ceiling, 2.5–3m projection is typical. For balconies on upper floors, 1.5–2m is usually sufficient.

A full cassette awning has a top cover AND a bottom flap that fully enclose the rolled fabric. A semi-cassette only has a top cover — the fabric roll is still partially exposed. Full cassette is recommended for year-round outdoor installation; semi-cassette is suitable for covered patios or seasonal use.
The awning is wall-mounted using heavy-duty brackets (concrete, brick, or wood). For plaster or hollow walls, chemical anchors or back-plates are required. Standard installation takes 2-4 hours for 2 workers. We provide brackets, fixings, and an installation manual with every order.
Our full cassette awnings are rated for wind class 2 (up to 38 km/h when extended). For stronger winds, the optional wind sensor automatically retracts the awning when wind exceeds safe thresholds — preventing damage. The awning is not designed for storm conditions and should be retracted during hurricanes or typhoons.
